Teaching

  • Our pathologists contribute to multiple medical conferences including weekly Tumor Board and biweekly Breast Pathology Conferences at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
  • We are active in the Aspirus Wausau Hospital Clinical Laboratory Science Program through didactic lectures. It is a nine-month clinical practicum completed at Aspirus Wausau Hospital through an affiliated University Baccalaureate Degree Program in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science.
  • Residents from the UW Wausau Family Medicine Residency Program have the opportunity to rotate through our pathology department for one-on-one educational instruction.

Education

  • The pathologists also attend state and national pathology conferences on an annual or biannual basis. These conferences include a wide range of subjects in both anatomic and clinical pathology.
